The Jwala Devi Temple, located in Kangra, Himachal Pradesh, isa famous Hindu shrine dedicated to Goddess Jwala, a manifestation of Goddess Durga, known for its perpetual eternal flame fueled by natural gas.It is one of the 51 Shakti Peethas, with legends stating that Goddess Sati's tongue fell at this site.The temple is a significant pilgrimage destination, attracting devotees year-round, especially during the Navratri festival ,and is revered for the holy flames that burn without any fuel

How the Pooja is Performed:

This Poojan is dedicated to Maa Jwalamukhi, the fire form of Devi Shakti, whose temple exists in Himachal Pradesh. She burns away all types of sarvabadha (obstacles) and arishta (misfortunes).

Procedure:

Performed in a temple sanctum.

Small yet potent Havan with Jwalamukhi Mantras.

Chanting is not heard by devotees due to the secretive nature of the mantra.
