The Jwala Devi Temple, located in Kangra, Himachal Pradesh, isa famous Hindu shrine dedicated to Goddess Jwala, a manifestation of Goddess Durga, known for its perpetual eternal flame fueled by natural gas.It is one of the 51 Shakti Peethas, with legends stating that Goddess Sati's tongue fell at this site.The temple is a significant pilgrimage destination, attracting devotees year-round, especially during the Navratri festival ,and is revered for the holy flames that burn without any fuel

How the Pooja is Performed:

The pooja starts with Sankalp, where the devotee offers their intentions and prayers. Priests chant Vedic mantras, and offerings like ghee, fruits, and flowers are placed into the sacred fire. The ritual concludes with Aarti and Prasad distribution to the devotee and family members.
